Random Thought:
Have you noticed that when ever you go out and look for a gluten free substitue like for instance {Gluten Free Soy Sauce} that they always come in a small bottle, small container, small box or small bag?.
You can go to the store and purchase regular soy souce and get a bottle that is twice the size of a glutten free bottle and less expensive. I read somewhere once that the reason the price is so high is because the manufactures need to up the price in order to keep making these items. Perhaps it's because it takes a lot more work to remove gluten from items rather then just bagging it and putting it on the truck for delievery at the stores.
That however, still does not explain why they decreased their size of everything. You and I are allergic to gluten and as far as I know, we haven't turned into mice who only eat a very small portion. I don't know if the manufactures think that if you are on a special diet that consists of no gluten that it automatically means that you have decreased your portion size as well?.
What ever the case, I just think it's ridiculous. I would really like to hear from you, please leave a comment and share with me what you think about the portion size and enormous price on all gluten free items.
